East central Iredell County in the Piedmont of North Carolina... Northern Rowan County in the Piedmont of North Carolina... * Until 245 PM EDT. * At 152 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Yadkinville to 11 miles northwest of Mocksville to 7 miles west of Statesville, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include... Salisbury, Mocksville, Spencer, Bermuda Run, Cooleemee, Cleveland, High Rock Lake, Fork Church, Advance, and Piedmont Research Station.
