Northeastern Oconee County in Upstate South Carolina... * Until 830 PM EDT. * At 744 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southwest of Brevard, or near Lake Toxaway, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include... Easley, Pickens, Berea, Liberty, Norris, Six Mile, Rosman, Salem, Lake Toxaway, and Jocassee Gorges.
