At 425 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Johnstown to 17 miles north of Elsmere to 10 miles northeast of Brownlee, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Ainsworth, Long Pine, Johnstown, Valentine National Wildlife Refuge, Wood Lake, Keller Park State Recreation Area, Pine Glen State Wildlife Refuge, Antelope Peak, Moon Lake, and Highway 83 crossing Goose Creek. This includes the following highways... Highway 183 between mile markers 194 and 203. Highway 20 between mile markers 219 and 251. Highway 83 between mile markers 176 and 192.
