At 1051 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Atkinson to 7 miles southwest of Amelia to 11 miles southeast of Rose, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Atkinson and Emmet. This includes the following highways... Highway 183 near mile marker 150. Highway 20 between mile markers 291 and 303.
