Bulletin details

At 841 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles southwest of Callaway to 6 miles east of Brady to 9 miles north of Wellfleet, moving south at 45 mph. THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR WESTERN DAWSON COUNTY. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Automated Weather Station. At 836 PM CDT, the sensor at North Platte Regional Airport gusted to 75 MPH. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely. These severe storms will be near... Gothenburg around 845 PM CDT. Willow Island around 855 PM CDT. Cozad around 900 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Farnam. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 228.
