At 953 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bitter Lake Wildlife Refuge, or 11 miles northeast of Roswell, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. What the bulletin says to do

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 953 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bitter Lake Wildlife Refuge, or 11 miles northeast of Roswell, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Northeastern Roswell and Bitter Lake Wildlife Refuge. This includes the following highways... Highway 380 between Mile Markers 170 and 176. Highway 285 between Mile Markers 116 and 123.
