Strong winds will cause higher waves and sudden wind shifts may overturn boats. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 430 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sawyer Bay, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Emergency management. At At 415 PM EDT, quarter sized hail was observed at Bluff Point Golf Course. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and powerlines. Locations impacted include... South Hero, Milton, Georgia, Grand Isle, Fairfax, Plattsburgh, Peru, Wilcox Point, Fish Bladder Island, Keeler Bay, Cooper Bay, Spoon Bay, Providence Island, Hoyt Bay, Sand Bar State Park, Smuggler Harbor, Sawyer Island, East Georgia, Wilcox Bay, and Kellogg Island.
