For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Southeastern Miami County in west central Ohio... * Until 400 PM EDT. * At 313 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Troy, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include... Dayton, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Troy, Vandalia, Tipp City, New Carlisle, Yellow Springs, Wright-Patterson Afb, Enon, Brown, Riverside, North Hampton, Donnelsville, Casstown, Green Meadows, Ginghamsburg, Phoneton, and Hustead. This includes the following Interstates... I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 33 and 53. I-75 in Ohio near mile marker 56, and between mile markers 58 and 75.
