At 252 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Freeport to 11 miles west of Woodsfield, or along a line from near Freeport to 11 miles east of Caldwell, moving east at 45 mph. What the bulletin says to do

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 252 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Freeport to 11 miles west of Woodsfield, or along a line from near Freeport to 11 miles east of Caldwell, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Caldwell, Freeport, Antrim, Quaker City, Senecaville, Lore City, Old Washington, Summerfield, Sarahsville, Salesville, Piedmont, Fairview, Batesville, Birmingham, Seneca Lake Park, Salt Fork State Park and Piedmont Lake.
