For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. At 1013 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Groveport, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines. Locations impacted include... Columbus, Dublin, Westerville, Reynoldsburg, Grove City, Upper Arlington, Gahanna, Hilliard, Worthington, Bexley, Pataskala, Powell, Canal Winchester, Groveport, Ashville, South Bloomfield, Minerva Park, Polaris, Ohio State University, and Lake Darby. This includes the following Interstates... I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 87 and 111. I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 88 and 127.
