At 412 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Long Pond, or near Mount Pocono, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible. Locations impacted include... Mount Pocono, Reeders, Pocono Pines, Pocono Raceway, Lake Harmony, McMichael, Tannersville, Blakeslee, Scotrun, Long Pond, Paradise Valley, Albrightsville, Christmans, Sun Valley, Jonas, Meckesville, Brodheadsville, Effort, and Merwinsburg. This includes the following highways... Northeast Extension between mile markers 85 and 96. Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 278 and 304. Interstate 380 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 5.
