Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Bulletin details

At 1202 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pine Grove, or 13 miles northwest of Myerstown, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Pottsville, Linglestown, Minersville, Paxtonia, Skyline View, Valley View, Pine Grove, Lykens, Tremont, Williamstown, Fredericksburg, Tower City, Friedensburg, Marlin, Forrestville and Branchdale. This includes the following highways... Interstate 81 between mile markers 71 and 116. Interstate 78 between mile markers 0 and 8.
