SVRCTP The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... North central Lycoming County in north central Pennsylvania... Southeastern Tioga County in north central Pennsylvania... * Until 530 PM EDT. * At 450 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Covington, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will be near... Blossburg around 500 PM EDT. Ogdensburg around 510 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Mansfield University. Radar has indicated rotation within this severe thunderstorm. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, tornadoes can develop quickly during severe thunderstorms. This includes Interstate 99 from mile markers 169 to 183.
