The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits as it exits the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for Upstate South Carolina. To report severe weather to the National Weather Service Greenville-Spartanburg, call toll free, 1, 800, 2 6 7, 8 1 0 1, or post on our Facebook page, or post it to X using hashtag nwsgsp. Your message should describe the event and the specific location where it occurred.
