Southwestern Kershaw County in central South Carolina... * Until 515 PM EDT. * At 427 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Longtown to near Bishopville, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines. * Locations impacted include... Columbia, Camden, Bishopville, Lake Wateree Dam, Dentsville, Lugoff, Villages at Sandhill, Elgin, Killian, Sesquicentennial State Park, Lake Carolina, Goodale State Park, Mayesville, Dinkins Mill, Manville, Spring Hill, North Towne Square Shopping Center, Boykin, Pine Grove Fire Station, and Wateree River Correctional Institution.
