At 846 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Tacoma Park, or 7 miles northwest of Groton, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. At 8:20pm 60 to 70 mph winds and quarter size hail were reported 2 miles north/northwest of Westport. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near... Tacoma Park and Putney around 850 PM CDT.
