At 753 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles southeast of Fairburn, or 20 miles northeast of Hot Springs, moving southeast at 25 MPH. HAZARD...70 MPH wind gusts and small hail. At 739 PM MDT, a wind gust of 65 MPH was measured near Fairburn. SOURCE...Automated observations. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Oral, Buffalo Gap, Fairburn, Buffalo Corrals, Red Shirt Table Overlook, northeastern Wind Cave National Park and southeastern Custer State Park.
