At 1054 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles south of Laplant, or 29 miles east of Eagle Butte, moving east at 25 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR SOUTHEAST DEWEY COUNTY. HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of South Central Dewey County.
