At 530 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Smyrna, or 11 miles northwest of Murfreesboro, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Murfreesboro, Smyrna, and Walterhill. This includes the following highways... Interstate 24 between mile markers 69 and 79. Interstate 840 between mile markers 46 and 62.
