Bulletin details

At 457 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Texas Tech University, or near Lubbock, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...The West Texas Mesonet site observed a gust to 58 mph at Reese Center. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Lubbock, Wolfforth, Shallowater, Idalou, Lubbock International Airport, Texas Tech University, Downtown Lubbock, Lubbock South Plains Mall, Reese Center, New Deal, and Lubbock Science Spectrum.
