At 146 AM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 14 miles south of Escalante to near Paria River Slot Canyon, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Big Water, Henrieville, Stateline CG, Paria River Slot Canyon, Paria Canyon, The Wave, Tropic, Cannonville, and Kodachrome Basin State Park. This includes the following highways... US Route 89 between mile markers 4 and 51. Utah Route 12 between mile markers 21 and 51.
