Bulletin details

At 636 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Manakin to near Bon Air to near Moseley, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and powerlines. These severe storms will be near... Richmond, University Of Richmond, Tuckahoe, Bon Air, and Wyndham around 640 PM EDT. Downtown Richmond, Laurel, Lakeside, and Glen Allen around 645 PM EDT. Virginia Union University, Virginia Commonwealth University, East Highland Park, Bellwood, and Bensley around 650 PM EDT. Ashland, Mechanicsville, and Highland Springs around 655 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Winterpock, Richmond Heights, Hanover Airport, Midlothian, Elmont, Short Pump, Montrose, Longdale, Pocahontas State Park, and Solomons Store.
