At 443 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Orange to 8 miles southwest of Charlottesville, moving southeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines. These severe storms will be near... Lake Monticello, Boswells Tavern, and Troy around 450 PM EDT. Louisa, Palmyra, and Ferncliff around 455 PM EDT. Mineral, Fork Union, and Kents Store around 500 PM EDT. Hadensville and Columbia around 505 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Orchid, Three Square, Central Plains, Bremo Bluff, Whiteville, West View, Wares Crossroads, Wilmington, Pemberton, and Dixie.
