Pamlico and Pungo Rivers... * Until 100 AM EDT. * At 1123 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 7 nm northwest of The Vicinity Of Gum Neck to 6 nm southeast of Crabtree Bay to near The Vicinity Of Bath Creek, moving east at 30 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas.
