For the following areas... Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20 NM... At 853 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 5 NM south of East Bank Buoy, moving north at 10 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Winyah Bay Sea Buoy, Georgetown Nearshore Wreck, East Bank Buoy, C J Davidson Wreck and Georgetown Reef.
