Waters from Little River Inlet SC to South Santee River SC from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 845 AM EDT. * At 744 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located near Vermillion Reef, moving north at 10 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Parking Lot Area, Vermillion Reef, Horseshoe Area, and Horseshoe Reef.
