Waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach out 60 NM... * Until 200 PM EDT. * At 1206 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 6 NM west of Doug Mellichamp Reef, moving northwest at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include...
