For the following areas... Coastal waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach SC out 20 NM... At 725 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line from near Charleston Nearshore Reef to near Edisto Sixty Reef, moving east at 5 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Capers Reef, Bull Breakers, Rattlesnake Shoal, Joe Shuford Reef, Charleston Sixty, Charleston Nearshore Reef, Air Force Reef, Charleston Coastal Anglers, Jimmy Leland Tug, Lowcountry Anglers, Kiawah Reef, N. Edisto Nearshore Reef, Hector Reef, Cape Romain Reef and Edisto Forty Reef.
