Coastal waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach SC out 20 NM... * Until 100 PM EDT. * At 1207 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms producing waterspouts were located along a line from near Charleston Harbor Entrance to near Kiawah Reef, moving north at 5 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Lowcountry Anglers, Air Force Reef, Charleston Nearshore Reef, Charleston Coastal Anglers, Kiawah Reef, Rattlesnake Shoal, Joe Shuford Reef, Charleston Sixty, N. Edisto Nearshore Reef, Capers Island Buoy and Deveaux Bank.
