Northeast Florida coastal waters from Fernandina Beach FL to St Augustine out to 60 NM... * Until 1100 AM EDT. * At 1013 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 16 NM east of Vilano Beach, or 17 NM northeast of Saint Augustine, moving north at 5 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas.
