Coastal Waters of Southwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM... * Until 400 PM AST. * At 254 PM AST, A severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located across Cabo Rojo coastal waters, moving west at 5 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots are possible. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
