Central Long Island Sound... * Until 130 PM EDT. * At 1244 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Penfield Reef to Norwalk Islands to Long Neck Point to Stamford Harbor, moving east at 15 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Strong thunderstorms will be near... Norwalk Islands, Penfield Reef, Long Neck Point, and Bridgeport around 1250 PM EDT. Mouth of the Housatonic River around 100 PM EDT.
