Upper Delaware Bay... * Until 615 PM EDT. * At 446 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 8 nm northeast of Northeast River, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * Locations impacted include... Pea Patch Island, Stony Point, and Reedy Point.
