For the following areas... Coastal waters from Cape Henlopen to Fenwick Island DE out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Cape May NJ to Cape Henlopen DE out 20 NM... Waters from Cape May NJ to Fenwick Island DE from 20 to 60 NM... At 1126 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 nm northwest of Delaware Lightship Buoy 44009 to 7 nm north of 10 Nm Se Fenwick Island to Assawoman Bay, moving southeast at 30 knots. A mesonet station at Indian River Inlet reported a 36 kt gust with these storms. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Buoy. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, Delaware Lightship Buoy 44009, and Indian River Inlet Bridge.
