What the bulletin says to do
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for southern Delaware...and southern New Jersey. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, high waves, lightning, and heavy rain are expected with these storms. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.

SMWPHI The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a * Special Marine Warning for... * Until 945 PM EDT. * At 737 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 9 nm north of Buoy Ge to near Ocean City Reef to Buoy 3fb, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Severe thunderstorms will be near... Wildwood Reef, Buoy 2fb, Ocean City Reef, Atlantic City, and Great Egg Inlet around 745 PM EDT. Great Egg Reef and Brigantine around 750 PM EDT. 28-Mile Wreck around 800 PM EDT.
