For the following areas... Coastal waters from Manasquan Inlet to Little Egg Inlet NJ out 20 NM... At 1232 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Harvey Cedars, moving southeast at 25 knots. This storm produced a 38 kt gust at High Bar Harbor near Barnegat Light at 1229 AM EDT. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Mesonet. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Ocean Gate, Ship Bottom, Barnegat Light Reef, Garden State South Reef, Silverton, Harvey Cedars, Forked River, Lavallette, Barnegat Light, and North Beach Haven.
