SMWPHI The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a * Special Marine Warning for... Outer waters from Manasquan Inlet NJ to Fenwick Island DE from 20 to 60 nm... * Until 100 AM EDT. * At 1202 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 22 nm east of Atlantic City Reef to 17 nm east of Deepwater Reef to 23 nm southeast of Five Fathoms Buoy, moving east at 30 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * The severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
