The affected areas were... Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD... Chesapeake Bay north of Pooles Island MD... Chester River to Queenstown MD... Patapsco River including Baltimore Harbor... The thunderstorms have moved out of the area and no longer pose a significant threat to boaters. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for central, northern and northeastern Maryland...and the adjacent coastal waters.
