What the bulletin says to do
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for central and northern Maryland...and the adjacent coastal waters. Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor immediately. Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.

For the following areas... Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD... Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to North Beach MD... Chester River to Queenstown MD... Eastern Bay... Patapsco River including Baltimore Harbor... At 613 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Aberdeen Proving Ground to Sevenfoot Knoll to 12 nm west of Mayo, moving east at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 48 knots and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Boaters could easily be thrown overboard by suddenly higher wind and waves capsizing their vessel. Boats could suffer significant damage in high winds. Locations impacted include... Kent Narrows Bridge, North Point State Park, Chester River, Eastern Bay, Greenbury Point, Shady Side, Sandy Point State Park, Highland Beach, Severn River, Bloody Point Light, Thomas Point Light, Parsons Island, Fort Smallwood State Park, Pinehurst, Gibson Island, Bodkin Point, Miles River, Love Point, Naval Academy, and Baltimore Light.
