For the following areas... Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA... Chesapeake Bay from Windmill Point to New Point Comfort VA... At 321 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located near Mobjack Bay, moving east at 30 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Nassawadox Reef, New Point Comfort, Rappahannock Range Light, Wolf Trap, Rappahannock Light, Mobjack Bay, Gwynns Island, Gwynns Island Reef, Hole In The Wall, Occohannock Reef, York Spit Reef, The Cell, Cherrystone Reef, and Cape Charles Harbor.
