Bulletin details

For the following areas... Coastal Waters from Cape Charles Light to Virginia-North Carolina border out 20 NM... Currituck Sound... At 1225 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 nm east of Triangle Reef to near 10 Nm East Of Virginia Beach Oceanfront to 6 nm southeast of Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel, moving southeast at 15 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. strong thunderstorms will be near... Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Rudee Inlet, and 10 Nm East Of Virginia Beach Oceanfront around 1230 AM EDT. Sandbridge around 1235 AM EDT.
