James River from Jamestown to the James River Bridge... * Until 230 PM EDT. * At 116 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 22 nm west of Burwell Bay to 9 nm northwest of Cobham Bay, moving east southeast at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Hampton River Inlet, James River Bridge, Hampton Flats, Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel, Willoughby Bay, Burwell Bay, Sewells Point, Cobham Bay, and Dominion Pier.
