James River from Jamestown to the James River Bridge... * Until 845 PM EDT. * At 750 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Coleman Bridge to near Burwell Bay to 7 nm southwest of Cobham Bay, moving southeast at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Hampton River Inlet, James River Bridge, Hampton Flats, Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel, Willoughby Bay, Burwell Bay, Sewells Point, and Dominion Pier.
