Bulletin details

For the following areas... Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and beyond 5 fathoms... Gulf of America including Dry Tortugas and Rebecca Shoal Channel... At 1202 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 10 nm north of New Ground Rocks Light, moving northwest at 10 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
