Bulletin details

For the following areas... Coastal waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel out 20 NM... San Antonio, Mesquite, and Espiritu Santo Bays... At 809 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 15 nm south of Port Oconnor to 21 nm southwest of Matagorda Island 557 to 16 nm east of Rockport, moving southeast at 10 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
