Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM... Matagorda Bay... Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM... * Until noon CDT. * At 1029 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 11 nm south of Galveston 344 to 6 nm east of Brazos 548, moving northwest at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots. Locally higher gusts possible. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Brazos 400, Matagorda Island 607, Matagorda Ship Channel, Brazos 469, Brazos 548, Brazos 439, Matagorda Island 557, Galveston 344, Tabs Buoy W, Brazos B133, Brazos 490, Matagorda Jetty, and eastern East Matagorda Bay.
