Vermilion and West Cote Blanche Bays... * Until 445 PM CDT. * At 352 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 22 nm northeast of West Cote Blanche Bay to 12 nm northeast of Vermilion Bay, moving southwest at 10 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Vermilion Bay, West Cote Blanche Bay, and Atchafalaya Bay.
