For the following areas... Waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA from 20 to 60 NM... At 919 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near South Marsh Island 61 to 9 nm southeast of Ship Shoal 198, moving southeast at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Eugene Island 158, South Marsh Island 23, Eugene Island 215, South Marsh Island 33, Eugene Island 189, Eugene Island 212, South Marsh Island 40, Eugene Island 206, Eugene Island 217, Eugene Island 208, Ship Shoal 198, Eugene Island 184, Eugene Island 175, South Marsh Island 39, South Marsh Island 27, and Eugene Island 182.
