For the following areas... Waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA from 20 to 60 NM... At 141 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over South Marsh Island 288, or 36 nm south of Marsh Island, moving west at 5 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Eugene Island 158, South Marsh Island 23, South Marsh Island 33, Eugene Island 135, Eugene Island 113, South Marsh Island 288, South Marsh Island 40, Eugene Island 175, and South Marsh Island 39.
