Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather Service.

Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM... * Until 1015 PM CDT. * At 910 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts was located along a line extending from near Breton Sound to 16 nm east of Pilottown, moving southwest at 25 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Pilottown, Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River, Boothville, Empire, and Venice.
